This database tool, the Okanagan Basin Water Quality Database (OBWQDB), is provided free of charge for use by municipal governments, water suppliers, academics, professionals, students, and the public. Use of the data and figures generated by this tool are permitted only if proper attribution is included at the point of each reference. References should include both the OBWQDB and the owner of the data.
It is hosted by Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB). This database and its reporting/statistical tools were developed by Larratt Aquatic Consulting Ltd. (LAC) for Okanagan water purveyors.
Use of the app and any information derived from use of the app such as tables, numeric values, and graphs may be used without consent of LAC and OBWB. However, the application and its code shall not be reproduced in any manner without the written permission of LAC. LAC exercises the level of care and skill normally exercised by science professionals, subject to the same time, financial and physical constraints applicable to the services when undertaking database quality control and quality assurance. The data displayed in the database is provided by the third party indicated as the data source. This tool is not a regulatory application and exceedances reported on this site do not represent legal or professional judgments on the quality of water. The data provider and LAC do not vouch for its accuracy, or guarantee that it is the most recent data available from the data provider. Water quality data is by its nature approximate and will contain some inaccuracies. LAC, OBWB, and the data providers disclaim the accuracy, adequacy, or completeness of any data and shall not be liable for any errors, omissions or other defects in, delays or interruptions in such data, or for results obtained from use of this information by another party.
