Drought Bulletin – July 17, 2025

Let’s talk water! Despite some recent sprinkles, our region is still officially at ๐ƒ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐‹๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐Ÿ‘, and the Similkameen just moved to a ๐‹๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐Ÿ’!

This means our streams are struggling with low flows and warm temps, impacting our fishy friends. Now more than ever,

Remember, conditions can vary in each community, so the best info comes from your local water supplier! Ex: West Kelowna and the RDCO recently changed watering restrictions in those communities.

Let’s do our part to keep our valley vibrant!
