Today we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Okanagan Basin Water Board – a local government agency that was formed in 1970 by the regional districts of the Okanagan to provide leadership on valley-wide water issues.
Due to COVID-19, it was a much smaller event than we imagined we would be having… with our current Board chair and a few past ones, a few past chairs of our Water Stewardship Council (our technical advisory body), some staff and a few guests.
