The Okanagan Basin Water Board’s Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, Sept. 5 at Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna.
While we will be reporting out on Water Board activities during the past year, we also have two guest speakers, including lawyer Deborah Curran who will present on the new B.C. Water Sustainability Act and how it will affect local government. Syilx Knowledge Holder Leon Louis will also provide an update on the Okanagan Nation Alliance’s recent water initiatives.
