The 2022 Okanagan Water Supply Webinar provides a one-hour presentation from water experts on the annual outlook for flood and drought. Several water supply indicators and management indicators will be discussed with a panel of water professionals.
This will be the ninth year the OBWB hosts this important water-information sharing webinar. This year’s supply webinar will take place on Tuesday, May 10th from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The online event features speakers from Environment and Climate Change Canada, B.C. River Forecast Centre, ONA and others, with updates on Okanagan reservoir levels, snowpack, groundwater, weather and wildfire forecast for spring/summer and an outlook on the local fishery. The webinar will be of interest to water managers, the agricultural community, local government electeds and staff, and others.
